Terms of Service

These terms cover website builds and Care plans from Keystone Site Company (Chattanooga, TN). Every build also has a signed Website Services Agreement with the details for your project; if the two ever differ, your agreement wins.

Free mockup

Mockups are free and come with no obligation. Nothing is owed unless you accept a Website Services Agreement.

Website builds and payment

• Each build has a fixed price, agreed in writing before we start.
• You pay half when you accept the agreement and half when your site is ready, before it goes live.
• Invoices are sent by email and paid by card or bank transfer through Stripe.
• If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause work, or take the site offline if it's already live, until it's paid.

Canceling a build, and refunds

• You can cancel a build anytime by email. You pay for the work done up to that point: never less than the first payment, and never more than the build total. We hand over everything that's built.
• The first payment covers work that starts right away, so it isn't refunded once the build has started.
• If we cancel because the project can't move forward on our side, we refund anything paid for work not yet done.
• For 30 days after launch, we fix anything that doesn't work as built, at no charge.

Care plans

• Care is $99 a month or $990 a year. Care Plus is $299 a month or $2,990 a year.
• Plans are billed in advance by card through Stripe, on the day you start and then every month or year on that date, until you cancel.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you to update your card. After 14 days unpaid we may pause change requests; after 30 days we may take the site offline until the account is current.
• We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.

Canceling a Care plan

• Cancel anytime from the Billing page in your client portal, or by emailing us. There's no cancellation fee.
• Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for, and then stops. We don't refund partial months, or unused months of a yearly plan.
• When you leave, you take everything: within 5 business days we send your site's files, move the code to you, and help point your web address wherever you like.

Requests outside a plan

Without a Care plan, or after your plan's monthly requests are used, each change request is $75. We confirm before starting and send an invoice; work starts once it's paid. Bigger jobs are quoted first.

Ownership

Once your build is paid in full, you own your site's content, design, and the code built for you, and your web address is registered in your name.

Limits

We build to current standards for speed, security, and phones, but we can't promise specific Google rankings or numbers of calls. Our liability is limited to what you've paid us. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
